Travel down the south coast of KwaZulu Natal to the Wild Coast Sun. Overnight at the Wild Coast.
Morning to relax and enjoy what is on offer at this Sun International resort - beautiful beach, water-sports, gambling, plenty of other activities and with a little luck some whale watching. Afternoon tee-off at Wild Coast Sun Golf Course, home of the SA Nissan Skins. Overnight at the Wild Coast.
Morning tee-off at San Lameer Country Club, this course has hosted the South African Open on a number of occasions. Return to the Wild Coast Sun for the night. Afternoon and evening at leisure.
Travel up the coast to Selborne Estate. Afternoon tee-off at Selborne Country Club. Overnight at Selborne.
Depart for Durban and Umhlanga. Check-in at your hotel, before your afternoon tee-off at Durban Golf Club, this is South Africa's No 1 golf course. Overnight at Umhlanga Rocks, a modern seaside town just north of Durban.
Morning tee-off at Zimbali Country Club. The coast of KwaZulu Natal is known as the "Golf Coast" of South Africa. Zimbali is another one of those difficult picturesque courses that makes this area live up to this reputation. Afternoon at leisure in Umhlanga with its golden beaches washed by the warm Indian Ocean in a sub - tropical setting. Overnight at Umhlanga Rocks.
Early morning departure to St Lucia. Take a cruise on the St Lucia estuary, a lake riddled with crocodiles and hippos in the Greater St Lucia Wetlands. Travel to the Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Game Reserve, in by-gone years this reserve was the hunting grounds of Zulu Kings. Spend the rest of the day in search of the "Big 5" and a host of other animals. Overnight in or near Hluhluwe.
Spend the morning in the Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Game Reserve, which is renowned for its white & black rhino conservation efforts. You then start to make your way back towards Durban via Zululand. Enjoy Zulu hospitality at its best with a traditional Zulu festival at one of the Zulu cultural villages in Zululand. Overnight near Eshowe.
After a leisurely morning, travel to Stanger for an afternoon tee-off at Prince's Grant Golf Club. Overnight near Stanger.
Travel to Durban, enjoy a city tour before dropping off your hired car at the Avis or Europcar office at Durban International Airport. Catch your connecting flight back to JIA, for your flight home.
