Hire car will be delivered to Table Mountain Lodge Leave for a tour of the wine growing district stop overnight in the village of Franschhoek. South Africa makes great red wine you will stay in a cottage in one of the vineyards. Naturally you will get the chance to sample the wine and have a tour of the vineyard.
Onwards to Mossel bay where you can take a walk round the fishing village, visit the Diaz museum or for a cage dive where you would be lowered into the water wearing breathing apparatus, you should then come face to face with a great white.
Travel through to Knysna where you will stay overnight in Knysna, which is in the heart of the South African Lake District.
Explore Knysna and Plettenburg Bay before moving on to the Tsitsikamma National Park. Overnight in Storms River at the entrance to the Park
Choose form a number of optional activities, for those brave enough, the worlds highest bungee jump with a drop of 216 metres, Black Water Tubing down Storms river which we heavily recommend, enjoy some of the magic walks in the Tsitsikamma National Park, take a tree top canopy tour suspended in the giant Outeniqua Yellowwood trees, or go abseiling, mountain biking, horse riding, snorkelling or just take afternoon tea at the rest camp and enjoy the stunning views.
Depart for Port Elizabeth where you will stay at Fifth Avenue Beach House, which is located 50 meters from Port Elizabeth's Hobie Beach and is a short walk to the Boardwalk which has good restaurants and a Casino.
The Addo Elephant National Park and Award winning Bushman's Sands Game Reserve.
This is the densest population of elephants in Africa and had lions reintroduced in 2003. The park is home to numerous other species, including zebra, wildebeest, rhino, water buffalo, kudu, numerous antelope species, monkeys, aardvark, jackal, meerkats and the flightless dung beetle. We then visit the Bushmans Sands Game Reserve and take a three hour Game Drive in an open Land Rover where we should see all of the "Big 5". Evening meal will be in an outdoor Boma restaurant where you will be served a safari meal.
You will have the chance to take a further Game drive prior to breakfast, before returning to Port Elizabeth, in the evening we include a township Shebeen tour, this will be with a specialist township guide who will take you to see the other side of Africa.
