Camp Figtree
Camp Figtree is a remote, private lodge set on top of the stunning Zuurberg mountain range. Resting between a conservancy and the Addo Elephant National Park, the camp boasts the most breathtaking 270-degree views to be found in the Eastern Cape. Camp Figtree has been designed around its original 1920's traditional colonial building style. Historically, this includes the distinctive use of corrugated iron roofing and wide, sweeping verandas which provide areas for relaxed sociability. The lounge and dining room are intoxicatingly evocative of the romantic colonial era. The separate luxury tented camp is in close proximity to the main lodge, and has been designed to mirror the hey-day of the golden years of the East African tented safari.
The Elephant House
The Elephant House is an exclusive 9 bedroomed lodge situated near the Addo Elephant National Park in the fertile sun-drenched Sundays River Valley. The décor at Elephant House evokes colonial and African images and is furnished with the owners' private collection of antiques, Persian rugs and Afrikana art. The 9 spacious bedrooms open onto courtyards and private verandahs. The chef serves lovely light poolside lunches and after "sundowners" a memorable three-course candlelit dinner is prepared with flair and personal attention.
Halstead Farm
Halstead Farm is situated a mere 10 minutes from the Addo Elephant Park and is a double storey 'Provence style' farmhouse built just before the turn of the century. Accommodation at Halstead is in a separate cottage from the manor house with 3 en-suite bedrooms all individually decorated in the typically colonial style. All of our bathrooms are complete with bath and separate showers. Each room contains a fan, mini bar, table and chairs. Room one boasts a piano. All rooms lead onto a wide decorated veranda overlooking a private garden. The cottage has a separate driveway and entrance to the manor house which assists guest to come a go at will. All guests have access to enjoy our swimming pool set in an enclosed courtyard
